Where your Nexorax blanket comes from, step by step

A postcard back that traces an order from print partner to your door, with returns going to Midway, Georgia

Nothing on this site exists until you order it. A Nexorax throw is printed, sewn, and packed by a print partner after your order comes in, then shipped straight to you. Here is the whole path, including the parts we cannot see.

Step 1: you order on this site

Checkout runs on Shopify. When the order is confirmed, it lands in our order queue at LUCY WATKINS FUNY LLC in Midway, Georgia. That is the company behind Nexorax. There is no warehouse and no store, only an office and a returns address.

Step 2: the order goes to a print partner

Within 1 business day the order is passed to a print partner in the Printify network. Printify is a platform that connects small sellers like us to printing facilities. The partner assigned to your order is the one that stocks the velveteen blank and can print it. We see the facility on the order record, and you see it on your tracking email.

Step 3: printing and sewing

The print partner prints the design onto transfer paper, presses it into the velveteen with heat, cuts the blanket to size, and sews the double-needle hem. The materials post explains what dye-sublimation does to the fabric.

Step 4: the carrier brings it to you

The print partner hands the package to a carrier and the tracking number is emailed to you. Delivery windows and costs are on the Shipping policy page rather than here, so there is one place to keep them current.

Step 5: if it comes back, it comes to Georgia

Returns do not go to the print partner. They go to our office at 173 River Birch Ln, Midway, GA 31320, after you email for a return number. The Returns and refunds page has the rules and who pays postage in each case.

What we cannot tell you

  • Where the blank blanket is woven. The print partner does not disclose the country of origin of the velveteen, so we do not claim one. We would rather leave the line blank than guess.
  • Which facility will print your order before you place it. Assignment happens when the order goes in.

What we can tell you

  • Who you are buying from: LUCY WATKINS FUNY LLC, a Georgia company, with a real address and a real reply-within-1-business-day email.
  • What you are buying: polyester velveteen, about 300 gsm per the print partner, one printed panel, plain white back.
  • That the images are renders from the print file, not photographs, and that fine detail softens a little on velveteen.
