The blankets
What is the blanket made of?
Polyester velveteen, about 300 grams per square meter, according to the print partner's blank specification. The edges are double-needle stitched. We do not have a fiber test of our own, so we repeat the print partner's specification and nothing more.
Is the whole blanket printed?
No. The art is a printed panel on one side of a white velveteen blanket. The back is plain white. On most designs the panel sits in the center; Summer Vibes sits near the top edge and Paradise Found sits near a top corner. The product images show where.
Are the product photos real?
They are renders from the print file placed on a blanket template, not photographs of a finished blanket. Colors on your screen and on velveteen will not match exactly, and fine detail softens a little on the pile. The Postmarks journal has close-ups.
Which size should I pick?
30 by 40 inches covers a lap, a stroller, or a reading chair. 50 by 60 inches is a couch throw for one person. 60 by 80 inches covers the top of a twin bed or two people on a couch. Every product page has a drawing of the three sizes to the same scale, and the Size and care guide has the details.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low, no bleach, no iron, no dry cleaning. Wash it alone or with similar colors the first time.
Where is the blanket made?
It is printed and sewn to order by a print partner in the Printify network. The print partner does not disclose the country where the blank blanket is made, so we do not claim one. Your tracking email shows where the package ships from.
What does the seal on some designs say?
Several badges carry a small compass seal that reads Dog Mom Co. or stay curious with a paw print. It is part of the artwork and prints on the blanket. Each product description lists the words that appear on that design.
Ordering and payment
How do I pay?
Checkout runs on Shopify. The payment methods available to you are shown on the payment step. All prices are in US dollars, and there are no subscriptions or hidden fees. Details are on the Payment policy page.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Sales tax is added at checkout only where the law requires us to collect it, based on your shipping address. The amount shows before you pay.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, within 12 hours of ordering. Email us with your order number. After 12 hours the blanket is in production and cannot be changed or canceled.
Can I get a discount for buying more than one?
Orders of $75 or more ship free, which is two blankets in most combinations. We do not run other volume discounts.
Shipping
How long until it arrives?
5 to 13 business days: 2 to 5 in production, then 3 to 8 in transit. You get a tracking number by email when it ships.
What does shipping cost?
$7.95 flat for orders under $75. Free for orders of $75 or more.
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico?
Yes. We ship to all 50 states, Washington, DC, and US territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands.
Do you ship to military addresses or outside the US?
No. We do not ship to APO, FPO, or DPO addresses, or to any address outside the United States.
Where does it ship from?
From the print partner's facility, not from our office in Georgia. We do not keep stock.
Returns
Can I return a blanket?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, if it is unwashed, unused, and in its original packaging. There is no restocking fee. Email first for a return number.
Who pays return shipping?
You do, if you changed your mind or picked the wrong size. We do, if the blanket arrived damaged, misprinted, or wrong.
Where do returns go?

When do I get my refund?
We post it within 5 to 7 business days of receiving the return. Your bank may take another 3 to 10 business days to show it. Full rules are on the Returns and refunds page.

Why is there no phone number?
We are a small team and do not staff a phone line. Email reaches a person who can see your order, and you get a reply within 1 business day, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern.
Can I visit the office?
No. It is a mailing and returns address, not a store.
